North Augusta High School Baseball Rallying As ‘Brock Strong’ This Season

North Augusta, SC (WJBF) — North Augusta High School baseball coach Matt Branon and his family had a curveball thrown at them last year when their son Brock was born prematurely at just 26 weeks. Since his September 4th birth, Brock Branon has undergone eight surgeries for brain, heart and intestine complications.

On February 10th, North Augusta senior baseball player Rashad Byrd started a GoFundMe page on behalf of the team to help the support the Branon family with hospital bills. So far, the ‘Brock Strong’ page has helped raised nearly $1,700.

This season, the Yellow Jackets baseball team and many in the North Augusta community are also wearing ‘Brock Strong’ rubber bracelets and t-shirts to support the cause.

If you’d like to help contribute, you can find the ‘Brock Strong’ GoFundMe page here.
