Augusta, GA (WJBF) – Installation of a 12-inch water main crossing Anthony Dejuan Parkway will cause a temporary lane closure in Hephzibah starting Tuesday, weather permitting.
The work is scheduled to take place from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. on the scheduled days. Rainy weather could possibly affect the scheduled work.
Anthony Dejuan Parkway is located off Windsor Spring Road between Spirit Creek Road and Tobacco Road.
Motorists should expect delays during this operation and should exercise caution by reducing speed within the work zone.
This work is part of the Phase 4 project beginning south of the intersection of Windsor Spring Road and Willis Foreman Road and terminating at the intersection of Tobacco Road. This project is approximately 3.3 miles long and scheduled for completion April 30, 2017. The $30 million Windsor Spring Road widening phase is partially funded by the Transportation Investment Act (TIA).
