North Augusta girls fall in state-semifinal overtime thriller, Westminster boys bounced in quarterfinals

Despite trailing 23-4 after the first quarter, the North Augusta Lady Jackets came back to force overtime with Sumter in the SCHSL 4A semifinals. However, North Augusta would come up just short, falling 41-39 in overtime at the Florence Civic Center.

In Augusta, the Westminster boys were down by nine points entering the fourth quarter of the GISA 3A quarterfinals, and also came back to tie the game, but Loganville Christian fended off the Wildcats for a 53-47 upset.

In the GICAA D-1 state title game at Georgia Southwestern State College, the Alleluia boys team lost 47-42 to the undefeated Horizon Christian Academy.
