Several Arrests Made After Drug Houses Raided In Aiken County

Aiken, SC (WJBF) – Last week, the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office (ACSO) ended two narcotic investigations with the arrest of eight people in the Beech Island and the New Ellenton areas of Aiken County.

According to Captain Eric Abdullah, ACSO Narcotics investigators executed two search warrants; one on Monday, February 22nd and another on Friday, February, 26th.

During the warrant executions, drugs (cocaine/marijuana), money, and accessories that were associated with illegal distribution of drugs were seized.

“I certainly hope that these operations have brought some closure to the disruption in these communities. With the mutual cooperation of citizens and law enforcement we all will continue to have an impact on like this on illegal drug sales and crime overall,” said Sheriff Michael Hunt.

On February 22nd, around 3:40 pm, investigators and the ACSO Tactical Team raided 1333 Bell Drive in the Beech Island area.

Investigators arrested the following people:

  • Steven Jackson, 25, has been charged with Distribution of Crack Cocaine (2 counts), Possession with the Intent to Distribute (PWID) Marijuana, and Operating a Stash House.
  • Raheem Jackson, 21, has been charged with PWID Marijuana and Operating a Stash House.
  • Robert Jackson, 25, has been charged with PWID Marijuana and Operating a Stash House.
  • Lorenzo Dunbar, 23, has been charged with PWID Marijuana.
  • Robert Green Jr., 24, has been charged with PWID Marijuana.
  • Antonio Simpkins, 23, has been charged with PWID Marijuana and PWID Cocaine.

On February 26th, around 2:30 pm, investigators and the ACSO Tactical Team raided 116 Cooley Street in the New Ellenton area.

Investigators arrested the following people:

  • Mario Gilbert, 33, has been charged with PWID Cocaine, Possession of Cocaine and Possession of Marijuana.
  • Oliver Dixon, 41, has been charged with PWID Cocaine and Possession of Marijuana.

Investigators also have obtained 2 warrants for 29-year-old Jamaar Rashad Green, 29, for Distribution of Crack Cocaine. Green is still at large.

Anyone with any information on the whereabouts of Green is asked to contact the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office at 803-648-6811 or Crime Stoppers at 888-CRIME-SC (888-274-6372).

All suspects that were arrested were taken to the Aiken County Detention Center without incident, according to Capt. Abdullah.
