Augusta, GA (WJBF) – A Richmond County woman who was accused of stabbing and killing her 2-year-old daughter in Augusta back in 2013 has been found guilty in the girl’s death.
Marina Mae Middlebrooks was convicted Monday in a Richmond County courtroom of killing Sky Allen before a crash that happened in Columbia County in which the little girl was ejected from the car.
She was found guilty on charges of Murder and Cruelty to Children in the First Degree.
We have learned that Middlebrooks was sentenced Monday, after being convicted. She was sentenced to Life in Prison without the Possibility of Parole.
