Montgomery, TX (WJBF) – Not every 11-year old can say they impressed Tiger Woods with their golf game…but Taylor Crozier can.
The junior golfer, from south Texas, had the teeing-off honors at a kids course in Texas, designed by Woods.
On the first shot of the first hole on the course’s first day…he got a hole in one!
The crowd at the course went bonkers and Crozier got a big hug from Woods…
Taylor ended up beating Woods by 2 strokes on that hole.
Woods, who is the former #1 golfer in the world, says he is working on his own comeback. “I can’t say, ‘hey, I’m playing next week, or I’m playing Houston…I’m playing here, I’m playing there.’ I can’t say any of that, I don’t know…and when will I know? I’ll let you know. But, I’m in a heckuva lot better place than I was in December.”
Bluejack National Golf Course is the first Tiger Woods-designed golf course to open in the U.S. He hasn’t given a timetable for his return to competitive play, yet.
