North Augusta, SC (WJBF) – The North Augusta Department of Public Safety (NADPS) has partnered with the American Red Cross in an effort to reduce fire related injuries and increase fire safety by offering free smoke alarms.
These alarms are a 10-year alarm with sealed lithium-ion batteries that do not ever require changing.
A NADPS representative will come to your residence at a coordinated time to install the alarms at no cost to you.
Although requests are being accepted immediately, the request fulfillment process will not begin until April 1st.
