North Augusta, SC (WJBF) – WJBF News Channel 6 has learned that a child was hit by a vehicle in North Augusta on Pisgah Road Tuesday afternoon.
The child was hit near Paul Knox Middle School around 3:25 p.m.
The 12-year-old girl reportedly stepped off the sidewalk and onto the road in the way of an oncoming vehicle driven by a 65-year-old woman.
She was transported to Augusta University Medical Center with an arm injury, but is expected to be okay.
According to troopers, no charges will be filed against the driver as the girl was at fault.
