Augusta Crash Causes Power Outages

Augusta, GA –  Georgia Power crews are working to regain electricity in Augusta.  According to the company’s outage map about 250 customers are without power.

It happened after an accident between 12th and 11th Streets near Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.  A car flipped over and hit a power pole and pulled down another.

Injuries were reported, but no word on how bad. Now Martin Luther King Boulevard is blocked off.

Georgia Power says the poles will be cleaned up by 2 p.m.
