Before Congressman Rick Allen makes his return to Washington, DC, he took some time from his packed schedule to stop by the set of “The Means Report”. As always the
Freshman Congressman offered his perspective on a variety of topics plaguing our country.
Congressman Allen addresses the need to protect the United States against the threats of ISIL in the wake of the attacks on Belgium.
“The President is unwilling to admit that we have radical terrorists trying to destroy our way of life,” Congressman Allen shared, and it is the same frustration he feels in the halls of Congress.
He also gives his take on the Presidential candidates, and what he thinks the country needs in its next Commander in Chief.
The Congressman confesses that the frustration he feels in the nation’s capital disappears when he returns to Georgia’s 12th District. He sees the great things that are happening in the district, including the expansion of nuclear power.
Passionate about farm and agriculture, Congressman Allen does feel that farmers are getting a raw deal when it comes to trade deals.
