Road construction projects back on track after Masters

AUGUSTA, Ga. – Now that the Masters is over, several road construction projects will resume or begin in the Augusta metro area, according to the Georgia Department of Transportation.

Among those projects is the continuation of improvements to River Watch Parkway between 15th Street and River Shoals Parkway. That’s where crews will close one lane in each direction again, starting today, to install lighting and resurface the parkway. Lane closures are expected to last for about six weeks.
