Augusta, GA (WJBF) – UPDATE 1:40 P.M. : We’ve now learned that the injury sustained by the victim in a shooting at a business on Wrightsboro Road Tuesday morning was probably caused by a bb or pellet gun.
Neither the victim nor witnesses claim to have heard a ‘gunshot’ prior to the non-entry injury.
Richmond County Sheriff’s Office investigators are continuing to search for a suspect.

Augusta, GA (WJBF) – According to Richmond County Sheriff’s Office deputies on the scene, a 29-year-old male was shot at an Augusta business.
The shooting happened around 11:00 a.m. Tuesday morning at a clothing store on Wrightsboro Road near Highland Avenue.
According to deputies, a bullet struck the victim’s left side and he was sent to Augusta University Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
There are no suspects, at this time.
