North Augusta, SC (WJBF) — It was a big night at the Peach Jam as teams in the 17U vied for one of 8 coveted spots in the quarterfinals (only the top 2 teams in each pool of 6 teams advance). All the big name college coaches were on hand, and so was one big name professional player. NBA superstar Chris Paul was in North Augusta Friday night to watch the team that bears his name, Team CP3. Paul, a 9-time NBA all-star has visited the Peach Jam before.
We have highlights of a thrilling win for Team Final over New York Rens by 1 point. A number of big name coaches watched that one including, Coach K, Roy Williams, Jay Wright, Kevin Ollie, Tubby Smith, Jim Boeheim, and many others.
Unfortunately the win wasn’t enough to get Team Final into the quarterfinals.
