AUGUSTA — One of the men accused of firing several shots on Augusta’s Riverwalk July 4th is now in jail.
30-year-old Clinton Coleman had been in the hospital recovering from gunshot wounds he received in the shooting.
Investigators say he got into an argument with another man and the two started shooting at each other.
A bystander says he tackled Coleman to the ground and wrestled his gun away from him.
The other shooter got away. The sheriff’s office is still looking for him.
Coleman is charged with Aggravated Assault, Possession of a Gun and Theft.
