Four players from Border Bowl IV Combine earn roster spots

Evans, GA. (WJBF) — The Border Bowl Combine gives coaches an early look at the CSRA’s top high school football talent as they began brainstorming their rosters for Border Bowl IV in January. It also gives players the opportunity to earn an early roster spot on Team South Carolina and Team Georgia.

At the 2nd annual Border Bowl Combine, four players earned roster spots for Border Bowl IV.

Aquinas and Team Georgia head coach James Leonard selected Evans’ running back Trey Holliday and Augusta Prep defensive end Hamp Gibbs.

Strom Thurmond and Team South Carolina head coach Antwaun Hillary selected Saluda linebacker Malcolm Wiggins and North Augusta center John Luke McNair.
