AUGUSTA, Ga. (WJBF) – An Augusta mother is facing charges after her kids were left in a pharmacy.
Cassandra Mills was arrested after her 7-year-old twins were found alone at the CVS on Windsor Spring Road.
Deputies say when they arrived at her home, roaches were found and it smelled like urine and feces. \
The 34-year-old is now charged with child deprivation.
The kids were taken away by DFACS and are now with a family friend.
She is now at the Webster detention center with a bond of $10,000.
