Augusta resident Wesley Bryan already locked up his PGA Tour card for next season after his second Web.com Tour win back in April but his win Sunday in Kansas earned him instant status on the PGA Tour.
Bryan won the Digital Ally Open on the second hole of a three-man playoff Sunday. He becomes just the 11th golfer to instantly earn his PGA Tour card by winning three times during a Web.com Tour season.
Bryan has competed in two career PGA Tour events this season on sponsor exemptions. He finished tied for 58th place at the FedEx St. Jude Classic in Memphis, TN and tied for 29th in the Quicken Loans National at Congressional CC in Bethesda, Maryland.
The 26-year-old played college golf at the University of South Carolina and is originally from the Columbia area.
