Two teens cited in ‘clown incident’ in McDuffie County

MCDUFFIE COUNTY, Ga. (WJBF) – Two people were cited for disorderly conduct in McDuffie County after being caught wearing clowns masks and attempting to scare the public.

A deputy responded to a call regarding someone in a clown mask at the Walmart on Harrison Road.

Per the incident report, Joshua Hadden had on the mask and was scaring people for fun, wile Christopher Hayes was driving an SUV.

The says the mask was found on the ground in the parking lot after being thrown out of the truck.

Officials say that there is no evidence that either Hadden or Hayes had anything to do with the reported incident that occurred in the Davis Circle area of McDuffie County.

That incident is still under investigation.
