Suspect identified in police chase ending in Aiken County

RICHMOND COUNTY, Ga. (WJBF) – A police chase beginning in Georgia ended in South Carolina Tuesday afternoon.

The chase began just after 1 p.m. on I-20 after an attempted traffic stop of a gold Ford F150.

The driver has been identified as 22-year-old Jacob Craven of Beech Island.

There were no injuries or wrecks and that both Craven and a female suspect are in custody.

Officials say that a taser was used to subdue the suspect.

Craven was confirmed to have had outstanding Meth Distribution warrants.

Other charges are unspecified though traffic charges are pending.
