AUGUSTA, Ga. – Ironman 70.3 in downtown Augusta kicked off, Sunday morning.
Thousands of athletes have come from all over the world to be a part of one of the largest triathlons in the world.
Registration is closed but everyone is invited to head downtown and support the athletes.
The competition will change traffic in downtown Augusta, Sunday.
Most roads along the course are already closed.
The westbound lane of Broad Street between 8th and 9th is already shut down.
All changes will go back to normal, Sunday at 6pm.
