AIKEN, S.C. (WJBF) – More than 3,600 people attended the 31st annual Science Education Enrichment Day at USC Aiken on Saturday.
The free event featured numerous science exhibits for kids of all ages (and adults, too).
WJBF NewsChannel 6 participated in the event. Chief Meteorologist George Myers, Meteorologist John Lynn, Meteorologist Rich Rogers and WJBF storm spotter Ken Lambert were there to run our exhibit, teaching kids about the science of meteorology.
AIKEN, S.C. (WJBF) – An annual educational science event returns to Aiken again this year, and WJBF NewsChannel 6 is participating for the first time!
The 31st annual Science Education Enrichment Day occurs this Saturday, October 1 on the campus of USC Aiken. Numerous exhibits will be on display at the Ruth Patrick Science Education Center and the Student Activities Center. The event is free and open to the public.

Among the many exhibitors are Aiken State Park, American Nuclear Society and Health Physics Society, Cyber Instructional Academy, North Augusta-Belvedere Amateur Radio Club, Savannah River Nuclear Solutions, South Carolina ETV and USCA Exercise and Health Science.
