NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. (WJBF) – The food truck frenzy is wheeling into South Carolina’s riverfront.
Friday night is the grand opening of the long-awaited truck stop in the heart of North Augusta.
The launch is calling on foodies and dog lovers because this event is funding the city’s first dog park, the Bark Park.

The event also mark the beginning of a permanent food truck stop in Jackson Square. The food trucks will be there for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
“The food trucks are amazing! That’s what’s drawing the crowds down here,” said Thomas Bryson, a member of the 2016 Leadership North Augusta organization. “Everybody is wanting new restaurants in North Augusta and this is just an easy way to get access to 4 or 5 new food trucks.”
All the food and fun starts at 6 p.m. and last through 9 p.m.
There will also be craft beer, 2 local bands and games for kids.
Admission in $10, you can buy your ticket online here or at the gate.
