“I LOVE THE 90s” at James Brown Arena rescheduled due to Hurricane Matthew, But “Border Bash” Still On


AUGUSTA, Ga. (WJBF) – Thursday night’s “I Love the 90s’s” concert at the James Brown Arena has been rescheduled.

The concert will now take place on Thursday, November 10th.

Tickets for the October 6th date will be honored on the new date.

Anyone requesting a refund must do so by Friday, October 14th at 5:00 p.m.

The show is set to feature Vanilla Ice, Salt N Pepa, Tone Loc, Coolio, Rob Base, Kid N Play, and Color Me Badd.

Meanwhile the 23rd annual “Border Bash,” which falls the night before the Georgia-South Carolina football game is still scheduled.

The event is set for Friday at the Augusta Golf & Gardens.  Gates open at 4pm.  Tickets are $15 in advance or $20 at the gate.  Children 10 and under are free and all displaced hurricane evacuees will get free entry by showing an I.D. with their city of residence.  For more information about the “Border Bash,” click here.
