COLUMBIA COUNTY, Ga. (WJBF) – A committee evaluating petroleum pipelines in Georgia is holding public hearings across the state.

The hearings will include testimony and comments from the public.

The Augusta hearing is set for 10 A.M. Thursday November 3rd at the Columbia County government building.

Officials say feedback from the hearings will then be considered as the Joint State Commission on Petroleum Pipelines recommends changes to the state’s process of evaluating petroleum pipelines.
