Victim identified in fatal accident on I-20 eastbound in Aiken County

AIKEN, S.C. (WJBF) – The victim in Monday morning’s deadly accident on I-20 in Aiken County has been identified.

30-year-old Phillip Weese of Aiken was traveling on I-20 Eastbound when he lost control of his Ford Ranger truck.

It then left the road and flipped.

The coroner says that Weese was wearing his seat belt at the time of the crash.

AIKEN, S.C. (WJBF) – One person is dead after an accident on I-20 eastbound near Mile Marker 34, Monday morning.

South Carolina Highway Patrol is currently on the scene and says at least one person may have died.

We have a crew on the way to the scene now.
