NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. (WJBF) – The investors behind a proposed North Augusta water park are still trying to get some of their money back.
The group filed new paperwork in bankruptcy court this week asking the company behind Scuttle’s Island Water Park, Cedar Rock Holdings, to involuntarily file for Chapter 7 Bankruptcy.
Cedar Rock has 21 days to respond to the request.
The city and state still haven’t received any formal plans for the water park…
And the proposed site of Scuttle’s Island is now owned by an Irish Traveler.
Sources close to the company say the water park deal is dead.
