Ga. DNR wants to urge drivers to watch out for deer on the road

GEORIGA (WJBF) – The Georgia DNR is urging drivers to watch out for deer on the road.

October through December is deer mating season, which brings more of them to the road.

As the days get shorter, commuters travel times tend to coincide with those of deer.

Experts say you should never swerve to avoid hitting a deer because you could end up over-correcting and flip your car.
