The deadline is here, where to go to sign up with the Affordable Care Act

(WJBF) – Friday, Dec. 15 is the deadline to sign up for coverage with the Affordable Care Act.

You can enroll yourself at healthcare.gov or get some help at the Augusta Public Library from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Make sure you have income documentation for each person enrolling like a tax return, W-2, or recent pay stubs.

You will also need the social security number and date of birth for everyone enrolling.

 

 


Only a few days left to enroll in health coverage with the Affordable Care Act

(WJBF) – You have just two days left to enroll in health coverage from the Affordable Care Act.

For 2017 the open enrollment was shortened from three months to 45 days.

The President and his administration also slashed the advertising budget by 90 percent and the consumer counselor budget by 50 percent.

Anyone who has signed up has until Friday to make changes.
