Community Connection Events:


  • 6th Annual Horses and Courses
    • When: Tuesday April 4th, 5-8p
    • Downtown Aiken
    • Horses and Courses is an art walk through downtown Aiken with visual and performing artists in front of every store front. You’ll find artisan goods for sale, snacks to eat, farm fresh goods, and stores open late.


  • Marshall Pines Arbor Day Celebration
    • When: April 28th
    • Marshall Pines Alzheimer’s Special Care Center
    • Celebrate making a positive impact on the environment for future generations and honoring past generations by stopping by Marshall Pines Alzheimer’s Special Care Center and pick up a free plant to take home in honor/memory of a loved one and to ensure we keep the CSRA beautiful for future generations


  • Kid to Kid Fill a Bag Sale
    • When: April 29th
    • Evans and Augusta locations
    • This nationwide sale gives shoppers the chance to purchase a shopping bag for a flat $15 donation and take home as many items as they can fit into their bag. 100% of the proceeds from this event are donated to the BuildOn charity; which builds schools in under-served countries


  • WJBF Golden Apple Awards Show
    • When: May 5th 7pm
    • Tune into WJBF News Channel 6 as this year’s outstanding teachers are recognized for their efforts to further education in the CSRA in a live broadcast presentation


  • Uptown Cheapskate Fill a Bag Sale
    • When: May 6th
    • Evans and Augusta locations

  • Aiken Downtown Development Hops and Hogs
    • When:  May 19th 6-10:30pm
    • Corner of Hayne Ave Ext and Pendleton St, Downtown Aiken
    • The third Annual Hops and Hogs event will occur in Downtown Aiken. Enjoy beer from 20+ craft breweries, BBQ vendors and live music from local band, Third Time Charmers.


  • Keeping it Insanely Real
    • May 20th 10a-1p
    • International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Union Hall 1250 Reynolds Street, Augusta, Georgia
    • This workshop-style event brings awareness to women about the signs and symptoms of mental illness, the importance of physical fitness and general mental health awareness information. Morning refreshments and lunch will be served.
